  In eleven years at Lakeview, Coach Shadley has guided the Vikings to a 152-86 record. His teams have accumulated one state championship, one state runner up, two Central Conference Tournament championships, three district championships, and seven Columbus holiday tournament championships. 

Born in Lincoln, Nebraska, Coach Shadley developed his love for the game of basketball while playing at Lincoln Northeast high school under the direction of the legendary coach, the late Ed Johnson. Shadley played forward on Lincoln Northeast's 1982 State Championship team.

          Shadley began his coaching career as an assistant coach at Kearney High School in 1987 under head coach Kyle Hoehner. While at Kearney he helped guide the Bearcats to a state tournament appearance during the 1988 season. In 1992, Shadley moved on to his first head coaching job at Shickley High School . In three seasons at Shickley, Coach Shadley guided the Longhorns to a 42-17 record and three district runner-up seasons. In 1995, Shadley became an assistant coach at Fremont High School under head coach Joel Parks. He spent two seasons at Fremont and was a part of the Tiger's 1996 state tournament team. Shadley is a 1990 graduate of the University of Nebraska-Kearney earning a Bachelor's Degree in Business and Physical Education. In 1999, he earned his Master's Degree in Education Administration. In addition to his coaching duties, he teaches business education classes at Lakeview High School. Shadley lives north of Columbus with his wife Ann, and their two children Jack and Rachel.
