🎒 Back to School Announcement! 🎒

We can't wait to welcome our students back this week! Here are the important dates and times to kick off the new school year:

🏫 Open House Dates:

  • Shell Creek (1st–6th) & Platte Center (K–6th): Tuesday, Aug 11 | 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM

  • Shell Creek Kindergarten: Friday, Aug 14 | 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM

✏️ First Day of School — Wednesday, Aug 12:

  • Shell Creek Kindergarten (Last names A–L): First day is Aug 12 (8:00 AM – 3:20 PM)

  • Shell Creek Kindergarten (Last names M–Z): First day is Aug 13 (8:00 AM – 3:20 PM)

  • All other Elementary students & Junior High: Aug 12 | 11:30 Dismissal

  • High School: Aug 12 | 12:00 PM – 3:30 PM

Centro Hispano is thrilled to host our annual school supply distribution event! We’re helping our local students get ready for a fantastic new school year. Here is everything you need to know:

  • 📅 When: Saturday, July 25th | 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

  • 📍 Where: On the Square (Check the flyer for exact location details!)

  • 📝 Who: Students from Pre-K through 5th grade.

We have 700 school supply kits ready to go! Please note that distribution is on a first-come, first-served basis, so we recommend arriving early.

We can't wait to see you there! Help us spread the word by sharing this post! 💙

We are officially one month into our annual school supply drive! We’ve already seen some amazing support, but there is still plenty of time to make a difference before the drive wraps up on August 7th.

We want to make sure every single Lakeview student walks into their classroom this fall fully equipped to become tomorrow's leaders.  

How you can still participate:
📦 In-Person Drop-Off: Drop off new school supplies or cash donations in the designated boxes inside the casino lobby.

Lakeview is teaming up with Harrah's to make sure every student has the tools they need to succeed this upcoming school year!

From June 1st through August 7th, 2026, you can help support our future leaders by donating new school supplies or monetary gifts.

How You Can Help:
🖍️Drop Off Supplies: Look for the designated donation boxes located right inside the casino lobby.

💵 Donate Cash: Financial contributions can also be dropped off in the lobby boxes.
