Miss Vales

Degrees and Certifications:

Miss Vales

Welcome to the Lakeview Agricultural Education department! I am Miss Vales the agricultural education teacher and FFA Advisor and I am so excited to be part of the Lakeview family.

I grew up on a farm located outside of Wilber, Nebraska where I attended Wilber-Clatonia High School. My family operates a commercial cow-calf herd and also runs a row-crop operation of mainly wheat, corn and soybeans. My dad is a full time farmer in Southeast Nebraska and my mom is the 4-H Secretary for Saline county, I have one younger sister who will begin her first year of medical school this fall at Bryan College of Health Sciences. My sister and I were very active 4-H and FFA members in our community, we also were very fortunate to have opportunities to travel the country showing livestock and that is something I am still very passionate about today. I grew up deeply rooted in agriculture and have a passion for educating youth and consumers on the importance of the industry.

I began college at the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture in Curtis, Nebraska, where I was a member of the 2015-2017 Livestock Judging team. After graduting from NCTA I transferred to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where I finished my Bachelor's of Science degree in Agricultural Education, I was also a member of the 2018 Livestock Judging team at UNL.
