About the Superintendent

Hello, and welcome! I’m proud to serve as superintendent here at Lakeview. My career in education spans over two decades, all spent in Sidney prior to joining Lakeview. I began as a kindergarten teacher, spending several wonderful years in the classroom before moving into a technology coordinator role. From there, I transitioned into administration, serving as an elementary principal for several years.

Throughout my career, I’ve been driven by a simple goal: to help create schools where people want to be, whether they’re students, staff, families, or community members. I believe schools should be places of connection, growth, and opportunity for everyone involved.

My wife, Erin, and I have been married for many years, and we’re proud parents of two amazing kids, Teah and Brendan. Like many families, we’ve experienced the full range of school life, from grade school events to high school graduations, and those experiences shape how I approach my work in education.

Vision & Priorities

At Lakeview, my focus is on building a school community where everyone feels a strong sense of belonging, purpose, and pride. My leadership is centered around these core priorities:

  • Student Success: Ensuring every student has access to high-quality learning experiences that prepare them for life beyond graduation.

  • Positive School Culture: Fostering a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where students and staff can thrive.

  • Staff Growth & Leadership: Supporting professional growth and empowering our team to lead, innovate, and collaborate.

  • Community Connections: Strengthening partnerships with families, local organizations, and community members to enhance opportunities for students.

  • Future-Ready Planning: Working with the Board of Education and stakeholders to plan responsibly for the future, whether that’s facility improvements, technology upgrades, or strategic initiatives.

Ultimately, my vision for Lakeview is simple: to continue making it a district where students are excited to learn, staff are proud to work, and families and community members are engaged and connected.

I look forward to working together to build on Lakeview’s proud tradition of excellence.
