The 7-12 Life Skills Paraeducator provides individualized educational, behavioral, communication, and personal care support for a student with significant disabilities, including a student who is nonverbal. The paraeducator works under the direction of the Life Skills teacher to implement educational plans, promote student independence, and ensure the student's health, safety, and well-being throughout the school day.

In addition to providing one-on-one support, this position assists the Life Skills teacher with classroom instruction, supervision, and daily operations while supporting other students enrolled in the Life Skills program as needed.
